The official website for the anime movie adaptation of Kazue Katō’s manga Blue Exorcist is streaming a trailer.
The movie is animated by A-1 Pictures who are behind one of my favourite anime shows of the summer season, Sword Art Online. The director is Atsushi Takahashi (Assistant Director on Spirited Away) and he will be working from a script written by Reiko Yoshida (Bakuman, The Cat Returns!!!). Music is provided by Hiroyuki Sawano (Guilty Crown), Shinji Kimura (Akira, Project A-Ko, Spriggan, Steamboy, Tekkonkinkreet) is art director, and Keigo Sasaki (Le Chevalier D’Eon) is providing the character designs.
The anime movie is expected to premiere on the 28th of December, 2012 in Japan.
